Heavy rain today, where is the risk?

KATHMANDU: The Meteorology Division attributes the influence of Monsoon air in Nepal as well as the low-pressure system surrounding Bihar.

Last night, there was heavy rain and lightning in Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim states.

Today, there will be normal to full change around the country. Light to moderate rain is possible in various parts of all states. There is a chance of severe rain with lightning in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim states in the afternoon.

At night, there will be a widespread shift across the country. Light to moderate rain is possible in a few spots in Koshi and Lumbini States, as well as in a few places throughout the region. There is also a chance of severe rain and lightning in Koshi and Lumbini States.
