NSU disgruntled group to surround Deuba residence

KATHMANDU: Dissatisfied leaders of Nepal Student Union (NSU) are going to besiege the residence of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba today.
Dissatisfied groups encircled the Congress central office in Sanepa yesterday and chanted slogans after the freshly nominated central members of the NSU did not include active workers.
They will, however, besiege the residence of party President Deuba today, after being denied access to the central office in Sanepa.
Yogendra Rawal, the student leader of the disaffected group of the NSU said, ‘After not being allowed to enter the party office, we will have to go to the house of some leader and form a committee. We will go to surround Sher Bahadur Dai’s house.’ According to him, disgruntled student leaders will besiege the house at Deuba residence in Dhumbarahi today and pressure will be put on reconsidering the nomination of NEBI Sangh Central Committee members.
President Deuba has nominated 711 people to the Central Committee on the recommendation of Dujang Sherpa, Chair of the NSU.
