KATHMANDU: The meeting of the top leaders of the 3 major parties has started at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar.

The 3 top leaders are going to discuss issues such as the disclosure of the obstacles being made by the main opposition parties in the Federal Parliament, the latest order given by the Supreme Court in the Lalita Niwas case.

Along with the Prime Minister, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, Congress leaders Krishna Sitaula and Ramesh Lekhak are participating in the discussion.

The UML is calling for the establishment of a high-level panel to investigate gold smuggling.

However, the government has refused to constitute the aforementioned commission. UML has been stalling parliament in order to protest this problem.
