KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan University has prepared to pose graduation-level questions in both English and Nepali.

The university has made preparations for this after the students felt that they were not comfortable as the question paper in the exam will be asked in English medium and most of the campuses are taught through Nepali medium.

Vice Chancellor Dr Dharmakant Baskota said that as per international norms, questions should be made in English language but the Nepali language will be added to it.

We have thought of making question papers in both languages from the next academic session at the undergraduate level. We are studying this, but if there is a question that questions should be asked in Nepali as well as mother tongue, it will be a matter of our concern how to solve it”, said Vice Chancellor Baskota while answering the MP’s question at the meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives, “According to international standards, questions should be made in English. Nepali language can be added to it, but questions cannot be asked after every mother tongue.’
