Heavy rain due to the effect of monsoon winds, where is the risk?

KATHMANDU: Monsoon air in Nepal, as well as the low-pressure system in the northern part of Bangladesh and the surrounding areas, are affected. As a result of which light to moderate rains are currently occurring across the country.

The country will experience normal to complete change in the afternoon. In several sections of the country, mild to moderate rain is possible.

Heavy rain with lightning is also possible in one or two areas of the Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini states.

There will be a general change in the country tonight. Some areas in the Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, as well as a few others, may get light to moderate rain. Heavy rain with lightning is also possible in one or two areas of Gandaki and Lumbini States.

According to the weather forecast division, there is also a possibility of wind in few places of Koshi and Madhesh States.
