AFC Cup: Machhindra to face Bhutan’s Paro FC

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Machhindra Football Club will face Bhutan’s Paro FC in the AFC Cup preliminary round on Tuesday.

The match will take place at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, at 5:30 p.m.

Machhindra Paro FC will meet FC in the opening match of the AFC Cup qualifiers’ play-off stage.

Although Church Boys won the A Division League, Machhindra, who finished second due to a lack of an AFC license, was given a chance in this competition.

The winner of Tuesday’s encounter will face India’s Mohun Bagan Super Giants in the second round on August 16.
