KATHMANDU: Montreal Tigers won the Global T20 Canada title.

Montreal Tigers won the Global T20 title by defeating Surrey Jaguars by 5 wickets in the final.

Montreal Tigers achieved the target of 131 runs set by Surrey, despite losing 5 wickets in 20 overs.

Dipendra Singh Airee of Nepal was retired after scoring 16 runs in 17 balls in Montreal Tigersl’s triumph.

Dipendra has 143 runs this season in 8 matches.

Surrey batted first and scored 130 runs after losing five wickets in 20 overs.

For the first time, Montreal Tigers has won the Global T20 title.

Previously, the Winnipeg Hawks won the second Global T-20 tournament in 2019 and the Vancouver Knights won the inaugural Global T-20 tournament in 2018.
