NIC Asia Bank introduces voice payment information with smart audio alert device

KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has introduced a smart audio alert gadget that can rapidly receive payment information through QR code.
According to this, merchants that are connected to the bank’s QR code payment system may now affirm that payment has been received by voice using this device upon receiving payment from their customers in the system, in addition to SMS or email notifications.
This device has been launched with the aim of making digital banking more convenient, simple and secure, the bank said in a statement.
After completing a transaction using the QR code on the bank’s smart audio alert device, merchants and consumers will receive quick confirmation that the payment was completed.
When paying with Nepal Pay QR on this gadget, brought by the bank in conjunction with Nepal Clearing House Limited, verbal information will be obtained.
Similarly, the bank is preparing to disclose comparable information when making payments via other payment networks in the near future.
The bank thinks that the gadget would not only assist thousands of businesses and millions of customers maintain trust in digital payments by promptly confirming payments based on QR codes, but will also be revolutionary in supporting digital payments in general.
