KATHMANDU: Playwright Kumar Nagarkoti’s play ‘Transit’ is being staged at Gothale Drama House of Shilpee Kala Group in Battisputli from Shrawan 5 (July 21).
The play based on a fictional scenario of time travel attempts to depict the events that occurred between the travelers who journeyed across time in the past and future.
Mayavi, who reaches the studio of a famous drama director Manav by time travelling to the past, will she get the answer to her question? How much time will she spend in this time-travel transit? Is she content in the past? Who will deliver her from this limbo between the past and the future? Transit, the play, has engulfed the audience in a web of comparable issues.
This is the third play of Nagarkoti staged at Gothalo Natakghar.
The drama is directed by Ghimire Yuvraj. Starring Divya Dev, Akankshya Karki, Shilpa Maskey, Basana Timilsina, Milson Rai, etc., the play has music composed by Dev Neupane, Anup Timilsina and Samarik Paudel while Praveen Khatiwada and Jhakendra BC have composed the lighting.
The play ‘Transit’ will be performed every day except Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. till Bhadra 2 (August 19).
An additional performance will take place on Saturday at 1 p.m.
