Farewell to Sabitra, a football player contracted to an Israeli club

KATHMANDU: Sabitra Bhandari, who has signed a contract with Israel’s women’s football team and will play professional football, has been bid farewell.

Youth and Sports Minister Dig Bahadur Limbu, National Sports Council Member Secretary Tanklal Ghising, All Nepal Football Association ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Hanan Goder and others bid farewell to Satria in the program held at Singha Durbar.

Savitra, a forward for the Nepali squad, has signed a deal with the Israeli club Hapoel Ra’anana A.F.C. to play in the league.

She will travel to Israel on August 1.
