Senior Cardiologist Prof. Dr. Arun Sayami’s service begins in KMC
Dr. Sayami, who has been involved in the treatment of cardiac patients for four decades, joined KMC and began the treatment service.
KATHMANDU: Prof. Dr. Arun Sayami, Senior Cardiologist, has begun treatment services at Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal, Kathmandu, today.
Dr. Sayami, who has been involved in the treatment of cardiac patients for four decades, joined KMC and began the treatment service.
Soina Sharma, president of KMC, stated that the KMC, which is improving treatment services, has boosted the cardiac department’s services by bringing in Dr. Sayami.
Saimi, the founder of the Shaheed Gangalal Heart Center, was the Prime Minister’s personal physician for 21 years.
According to Narayan Dahal, the hospital’s general manager, the addition of Dr. Saimy has resulted in a stronger team of expert doctors in KMC’s cardiac department.
Prof. Dr. Sanjay Shrestha, Dr. Aditya Mahaseth, and other professional doctors work at KMC’s cardiac department. Senior cardiologists Prof. Dr. Rajesh Nepal and Dr. Sahdev Dhungana assisted as well.
With the arrival of Dr. Sunil Sharma, KMC has expedited and continues to expand its excellent service facilities. The cardiac department’s services have also been considerably upgraded.
KMC has also operated a state-of-the-art ‘Wiplane cath lab’ since about six months ago.
The cath lab with technology that can perform neuro, cardio and vascular surgery has been operated for the first time in Nepal.
