Case registered against actors including Balchi Dhurve with 65 crore claims

KATHMANDU: The district attorney’s office has filed charges against artists such as Marichman Shrestha (Balchi Dhurve) and Raju Paudel (Raju Master) for advertising betting websites.

On Monday, the public prosecutor’s office filed a charge sheet against them at Kathmandu District Court.

A complaint has also been filed against Dinesh Khadka, Anita Dhital, Zalan Gharti Magar, Alish Rai Ganesh Devkota, Begam Nepali, Roshan Khatiwada, and Saroj Ghimire, in addition to Shrestha and Poudel.

They were charged with breaking the Nepal Nepal Rastra Bank Act 2058 by advertising a betting website named Online 1xBet.

According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a claim of Rs 64,94,29,000 has been made against them.
