MAKWANPUR: The Kathmandu Medical College at Sinamangal, Kathmandu, organized a free health camp in Hetauda, Makwanpur.

In conjunction with the Hetauda School of Management, KMC has arranged a two-day program in Hetauda.

The camp was inaugurated by Meena Kumari Lama, mayor of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city. Mayor Lama, who officially opened the camp, stated her opinion that it will substantially aid the poor and needy patients.

Narayan Dahal, General Manager of KMC, stated that 2,120 patients received free health checks during the camp, which concluded on Saturday.

Patients from all around the country flocked to the camp for treatment. The camp has seen 574 individuals get video X-rays, 522 people do blood tests, 350 people undergo ECGs, and 251 people undergo echos.

Similarly, the teeth of 51 persons with dental issues were extracted. According to KMC Dahal’s General Manager, 105 patients who were unable to obtain care at the camp and had critical difficulties were referred to the hospital for additional treatment.

A team of 35 people including expert doctors came from KMC for the camp. KMC, which is making leaps and bounds in the field of health treatment and medical education, has been conducting camps in different places of the country.
