Singer/artist Robin Tamang’s funeral today

KATHMANDU: The body of vocalist Robin Tamang will be laid to rest in the courtyard of the Music and Drama Academy this morning. A memorial service has been planned for 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the courtyard of the Naxal Academy.

Following that, there is a schedule to visit Shobha Bhagwati in Bijeshwari for last rites.

Robin died on Tuesday. He was discovered dead at his home in Budhanilkantha.

Robin is a skilled singer as well as an artist. He was recently seen in the film ‘Chhadke-2’. Apart from Chhadke, he has appeared in films such as Mukhauta, Jai Parasuram, and Chiso Ashtray.

Songs like ‘Chiso Chiso Hawama,’ ‘Jati Maya Laye Pani,’ and ‘Bhulma Bhulio’ are well-known.

Robin also became a judge on the reality show Roadies.
