KATHMANDU: Angel di Maria, an Argentine forwarder, has joined Benfica.

Di Maria, 35, was a member of the Portuguese club from 2007 until 2010.
He spent last season with the Italian team Juventus. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
‘You are welcome to stay. ‘Diva Maria.’ The club stated in a video statement.
He agreed to a one-year deal with the club.
He won the league and cup double with the Portuguese club before joining Real Madrid.
