KATHMANDU: Aliza Gautam, an actress, model, and Nagarik Unmukti Party leader has declared her retirement from active politics.
She entered politics with the purpose of helping the country and the people five months ago. She announced her retirement from active politics in a Facebook status update on Thursday.
She has also stated that she plans to work in social services in the future. She also stated that after visiting Dharan’s mayor, Hark Sampang, she planted a tree and gave him ten sawels as a present.
She advised the party’s active MPs to visit Dharan and view Sampang’s efforts, citing Sampang as a source of inspiration.
