Heavy rain today, vigilance required in these areas

KAATHMANDU: Currently, the monsoon is affecting the country. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division, the country is now experiencing normal to total change.

Light to moderate rain is falling in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali states.

The country will experience a normal to complete change in the afternoon. Some areas of the nation may see light to moderate rain.

There is also a chance of severe rain with lightning in one or two spots in the states of Koshi, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim. Wind is also possible in a few Terai locations in the Madhesh and Lumbini states.

There is a chance of severe rain with lightning in one or two spots in the Lumbini and Sudurpaschim States at night.

The wind is also expected in the Gandaki, Lumbini, and a few areas in the Terai of Sudurpaschim States.
