Robin Tamang, a singer & musician, died aged 60
Although he passed some time ago, the reason of death has not been revealed.
KATHMANDU: The news of singer and artist Robin Tamang’s death today (Tuesday) evening came out through his Facebook page.

Robin Tamang, 60, was a Nepalese singer, musician, actor and founder of rock band Robin and ‘The New Revolution’.
He was well-known for playing the character of Yama Nadu in the Amazon Prime series, ‘The Last Hour’.
Tamang has acted in scores of movies in addition to singing numerous hit songs.
Tamang has appeared in scores of movies, including Chhadke, Mukhauta, Jai Parshuram, Chiso Ashtray.
Robin’s Personal Life
Tamang was the youngest of five siblings born in Singapore to a family of British Army personnel. Tamang spent his youth in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Brunei since his father was stationed in several areas.
He was influenced by Jimi Hendrix and Deep Purple while attending school in Singapore. While studying at Humber College in Toronto in the mid-1980s, he created his second band Tamang and played in numerous locations.
In 1996, he returned to Nepal to live with his father in Pokhara, where he joined the rock band Looza. Looza dissolved in 2005 after playing with them for several years.
