KATHMANDU: Complaints regarding microfinance financial services can now be registered with Nepal Rastra Bank.

The central bank has set up a special help centre to handle concerns against microfinance financial companies.

The central bank has established a grievance hearing desk in the Microfinance Institutions Supervision Department to address complaints about microfinance financial services made by concerned members who conduct savings and credit transactions with Rastra Bank-licensed ‘D’ category microfinance financial institutions.

One can call the toll-free number to register the complaint at the Bank’s Complaint Hearing Desk, and can also visit Rastra Bank’s online complaint portal to register the problems.
