KATHMANDU: The newly elected officials of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) met with Sharat Singh Bhandari, Minister of Labour, Employment, and Social Security, and Amanlal Modi, Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

The Confederation’s executives, led by newly elected Chair Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, examined the country’s economy, labor, and employment.

In a discussion with Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Bhandari, the newly elected president of the Confederation, Agarwal said that there is a need to boost the morale of the private sector to keep the economy running.

He stated that the employees’ minimum salary should be raised, but only in light of the current scenario.

Ministers Sharat Singh Bhandari and Amanlal Modi congratulated and wished the newly elected working committee, and stated that the government is dedicated to private-sector growth.

Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security Kewal Prasad Bhandari, Vice Chairs of the Confederation Birendra Raj Pandey, Rohit Gupta, Amit More, Bhim Ghimire, Permanent Invited Member Chayaan Sharma participated in the discussion.
