‘Tuvel’ in Purano Ghar (photos)

KATHMANDU: A Terai-themed drama is being staged at the ‘Purano Ghar’ theatre house in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.

Roshan Subedi’s conceptualized and directed drama ‘Tuvel’ has been performed on a regular basis since the 15th of Ashar (June 30).

The drama depicts the irrigation problems faced by the farmers in the Terai region of Nepal.

Nisha Dahal, Arvind Kumar Maurya, Bhuwan Luhar, Shrawan Yadav, Rajeev Chaudhary, Kundan Tharu, Rohit Rajak and others have acted in the drama which covers the story of Terai around 2056.

Every day except Wednesday, at 5:15 p.m., the drama ‘Tuvelu’ created in Bhojpuri Loves will be staged. According to Old House, an additional show will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m.
