Citizens Bank provides financial support to Saath Hakuna Matata
The bank has handed over a cheque for one lakh thirty-two thousand.
KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank International Limited has provided financial support to Saath Hakuna Matata.
For almost a decade, the bank has offered foster care, health care, education, and entertainment to deaf children as part of its corporate social responsibility, and it has also provided financial assistance to Saath Hakuna Matata.
The bank has handed over a cheque for one lakh thirty-two thousand.
Saath looks after children from underserved communities. Where children who are economically underprivileged or physically challenged are assisted in receiving a suitable education and health treatment.
An annual deposit is made by creating a savings account.
The same amount will be spent in critical areas such as children’s education and health.
During a ceremony, the bank presented Samikshya Sharma, program manager, with a cheque for one lakh thirty-two thousand rupees.
The money will be used to educate and cure 11 youngsters in Sath Hakuna Matata, according to program manager Samikshya Sharma.
