Hetauda hospital received medical supplies totaling 8.8 million
The club purchased and delivered the equipment to the hospital for the aim of treating heart disease in the region.
KATHMANDU: The Makwanpur Rotary Club has provided various materials for the treatment of heart problems worth Rs 88 lakh 60 thousand 400 to the Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences’ Hetauda Hospital.
The club purchased and delivered the equipment to the hospital for the aim of treating heart disease in the region.
According to Rajesh Prasai, the institute’s registrar, once the equipment is accessible, there would be no need to travel outside of the area for treatment of heart-related disorders. He stated that the club had given the hospital materials such as a TMT scan, an ECG machine, and a Holter system equipment.
Rotary Chair Krishna Karki said that the materials were transferred with the aim of making the services of the hospital more efficient.
Dr. Ram Chandra Sapkota, Head of Hetauda Hospital, Pratap Bishta, Founder Chair of Nepal Journalist Federation Bagmati Province, and others were present at the handover ceremony.
