He stated that with the advancement of technology, the role of chartered accountants is becoming increasingly crucial.
He stated that the chartered accountant profession must be defined as a strategic and dependable business partner.
Governor Adhikari said, ‘With the development of technology, the work of chartered accountants in offices is becoming important. Globalization changes are underway. What we know today may not work tomorrow, so we must embrace change as an opportunity to redefine our profession as a strategic and trusted business partner. Furthermore, the global nature of the business means that Chartered Accountancy is increasingly being upgraded in an international context. It is equally important to look at this opportunity to broaden your horizons to understand different cultures and business practices and to develop a global mindset. I would like to convey a message to all participating panellists and paper presenters from Nepal and abroad that there is good and potential for our profession in the future.’
He said that the development and expansion of chartered accountants has been going on internationally in recent times and that there are good prospects in the future.
