Nepal set a target of 270 runs to Thailand

KATHMANDU: Nepal has set Thailand a 270-run target in the current ACC U-16 Eastern Zone Cup in Malaysia.

Nepal batted first after winning the toss at Bangi, Malaysia, and scored 269 runs while losing 8 wickets in the allotted 35 overs.

Nepal’s Niraj Kumar Yadav scored 74 runs off 43 balls. Suryanshu scored 40 runs off 55 balls, while Naren Bhatta scored 55 runs off 43 balls.

If Nepal wins this match, it will join Malaysia in the semi-finals. Thailand was defeated by Malaysia in Group A’s opening match.
