India-Kuwait held draw, Kuwait group winner

KATHMANDU: In the 14th edition of the SAFF Championship football, former winners India and the invited team Kuwait have scored points by playing a draw.
On Tuesday, hosts India and Kuwait drew 1-1 at Bangalore’s Sri Kanti Rao Stadium.

With this tie, Kuwait has advanced to the semi-finals by finishing first in Group A.
India finished second in the group and advanced to the final four.

Nepal and Pakistan were eliminated from this group in the group stage.
