KATHMANDU: The third central session of the Nepal Bank Employees Union was conducted on Ashar 8 and 9 (June 23 & 24) in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu.
The convention chose a 29-member central committee led by Anil Tamang Yonjan.
Surendra Shrestha as senior vice chair, Loknath Dhakal as vice chair, Loknath Dhakal as general secretary, Kalpana Parajuli as secretary, Matrika Bhattarai as secretary, Sanjeev Khatiwada as treasurer and Santosh Shrestha as co-treasurer and Khyam Bahadur Rana, Suman Shrestha, Dipendra Karki, Hari KC as central members have been nominated.
The committee’s term is expected to last four years. Newly elected Chair Yonjan took the oath of office before Chief Elected Officer Jitendra Khadka, while other officials took the oath of office before Chair Yonjan.
The program was attended by approximately 80/90 individuals, including the senior vice president of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party and the Buddhiman Tamang.
