KATHMANDU: The Nepali individual who hurled a beer bottle at singer Prakash Saput was turned over to the Romanian immigration office.

Following the incident that occurred on Monday night, the organizers took the Nepali individual into custody and handed him over to immigration.

According to Naresh Giri of the organizing organization, the individual is currently being held at Romanian immigration.

Giri informed that the immigration will now produce him in court.

Singer Saput sang his hit song ‘Bola Maya’ at the ‘Yad Nepali Music Festival Part 2’ show.

Singer Saput was injured in the face with a can of beer by a man who was alleged to be inebriated. His identity has not been revealed.

It is said that 400 Nepalis participated in the festival. Singer Saput and Preeti Ale came to Romania from Nepal to participate in the concert.

This upsetting situation is not an unusual occurrence in the Nepali music industry.

Previously, prominent rapper Samir Ghising, better known as VTEN, was involved in a similar incident in Japan when a beer bottle was hurled at him during a concert.

Furthermore, renowned singer Rajesh Payal Rai was treated to a disparaging act while performing on stage in the United States.
