KATHMANDU: Preparations have been made to put Jalhari in the sanctum sanctorum of Pashupatinath temple ie Jyotilinga.
Preparations are being made by the Pashupati Area Development Fund’s office to return the gold Jalhari to the sanctorum by Thursday.
The apology worship was performed when the Jalhari was removed; it will now be reinstated. According to Rewatiraman Adhikari, the fund’s spokesperson, regular worship rituals have resumed despite the removal of the gold Jalhari. The worship was halted while Jalhari was extracted and measured from the shrine. He stated that regular worship has resumed since Monday morning.
Dr. Ghanshyam Khatiwada, executive director of the fund, said that only after the investigation process by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) is over, it is possible to talk about Jalhari. He said, “After the report of the commission, this matter will be settled.” Now we can’t say anything.
Jalhari’s weight, on the other hand, was determined to be 107 kg, 468 grams in a test conducted on Sunday by the CIAA. The Pashupati Area Development Fund made the decision to maintain 107 kg 924.75 grams of Jalhari. After a query about Jalhari was made in Parliament, the CIAA conducted a balance and quality test.
Jalhari’s testing was finished by the Authority on Monday. However, no final report has been issued. As the inquiry continues, the Authority’s spokeswoman, Bhola Dahal, has stated that he will not say anything until the final conclusion is reached. ‘Only the investigating officer is aware of what is going on. ‘We’ll say after the ultimate verdict,’ he added.
After weighing and testing, Jalhari has been placed in Rudragareshwar under the supervision of Nepali Army, Armed Police, Nepal Police, People’s Representatives, Expert Team of Gold and Silver Federation, representatives of Mines and Geology Department and Pashupati Area Development Fund. The Nepali Army is providing security in the first circle at the place where Jalhari is kept. There is a team of armed police forces in the second circle.
