Lebanon’s second win in a row in SAFF Championship

KATHMANDU: Lebanon’s invited squad won its second consecutive SAFF Championship football match in India.

Lebanon defeated Bhutan 4-1 in the Sri Kanti Rao Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday, their second consecutive triumph.

Lebanon won thanks to goals from Mohamed Sadek, Ali Al Haj, Khalil Bader, and Mahdi Zein.

Chencho Galsen of Bhutan returned a goal.

Lebanon now has 6 points from two games.

Lebanon is the top team in Group B.

Bhutan has suffered its second consecutive defeat.

Bhutan ranks last with nil points.

8 nations are participating in this edition of SAFF.

Along with Nepal, hosts India, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bhutan, Pakistan, Maldives will participate in this edition of the championship.
