Water hyacinth covers Phewa Lake (photos)

POKHARA: Phewa Lake in Pokhara is covered in water hyacinth.

On Sunday morning, the lake, which had been clear until Saturday, was filled with water hyacinth.

The water hyacinth that flowed from the head of the lake is now all over the lake.

Pokhara Metropolitan has its own vehicle to extract water hyacinth. However, it did not totally function.

The tourists couldn’t view the lake clearly once the water hyacinth covered it.
