KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank has introduced NBank Web, its new online banking service.
The bank launched this service on Thursday with a virtual event. Customers can use their desktop, tablet, or laptop to transfer up to 2 million rupees per day and 5 million rupees per month using online banking services.
The bank stated that, in addition to improving user-friendly financial services, NBank Web will assist in offering accessible and secure services.
Individual clients who have enrolled in the NBank app (mobile banking) can use the same ID and password or QR code to log in, according to the bank.
Vinay Kumar Regmi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer – NBank & Operations, says, “NBank Wave offers an omnichannel banking experience similar to the NBank mobile banking app. It provides ease of financial management with an upper limit of online transactions.”
With the beginning of online banking, the old Internet banking service Nabilnet will be decommissioned on July 6th. NBank Web will now be available to customers who have personal accounts.
“Corporate customers currently using NabilNet will be required to register with CorporatePay,” he added.
Customers can use NBank Web to accomplish financial transactions such as creating accounts, sending cash, making bill payments, accessing card data, opening fixed deposits, and borrowing against fixed deposits. NBank Web also provides access to EnRemit, Nabil Bank’s worldwide card-based remittance service.
NBank’s web facility can be accessed at nbank.com.
Stating that NBank Web incorporates a high level of security, DCEO Regmi said, “Keeping in mind the security of customer information and transactions on NBank Web, we have introduced a high level of security through strong measures including strong encryption, two-factor authentication, auto-logout feature, and SIM verification.”
Nabil Bank is a prominent private-sector lender. With 255 branches and 283 ATMs around the country, the Bank seeks to fulfil its clients’ changing demands while strengthening its commitment to customer satisfaction and service quality.
Nabil Bank has developed NBank, a virtual branch within the bank, to further expand its digital presence and comply with the worldwide move toward digital banking.
