KATHMANDU: Nepal remains wicketless after 120 balls in the current ICC ODI World Cup qualifier against the West Indies in Zimbabwe.
Nepal claimed the last wicket in 15.3 overs. However, Nepal was unable to take any wickets in the next 120 balls. West Indies have already reached 207 runs while losing three wickets in 36 overs. Captain Shai Hope and Nicholas Pooran are presently at the crease.
Captain Hope is undefeated on 85 runs off 98 balls, with seven fours and one six. Nicholas Pooran contributed 75 runs off 63 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes. Pooran and Hope have a century partnership of 141 runs for the fourth wicket.
In three individual runs, Nepal provided West Indies key batsmen Nicholas Pooran life. Following then, West Indies made a strong comeback in the game. Pooran’s ball was edged by wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh in the 17th over by spinner Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi.

Shai Hope and King shared 46 runs for the third wicket to try to get back into the game. Sandeep claimed the third wicket of the West Indies, who were struggling to score against the Nepalese spin.
Sandeep dismissed Brendan King for 32 runs. In 42 balls, he hit two fours and two sixes.
