5-Nepali member squad soars to Macau to play PUBG

It is said that 24 teams will compete in PUBG Mobile, which is also a selection for the Asian Games.

KATHMANDU: A five-member Nepalese squad has reached in Macau to compete in PUBG Mobile.

Tanglal Ghising, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, and Member Anjan Dhamala say farewell to the squad during a program wishing them luck.

The other players of the team led by Suvin Kumar Prajapati (Rulz) are Sahas Bhandari (Killer Whitey), Samir Gurung (Gyante), Dipesh Gurung (Delta) and Sangin Bhattarai (Sang).

It is said that 24 teams will compete in PUBG Mobile, which is also a selection for the Asian Games.

PUBG Mobile will be operated from Ashar 8-11 (June 23-26).

During the program, member-secretary Ghising stated that the popularity of e-sports is growing in Nepal as well and that this game, like other games registered with the council, would be granted guardianship.
