Aryal, Mayor Balen Shah’s education advisor, resigns following the Indian movie ban
Aryal, who recently played a part in Kathmandu Metropolitan's education reform, announced her retirement from the office on social media.
KATHMANDU: Reshu Aryal Dhungana , Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah’s (Balen’s) Education Advisor, has resigned from her post.
She resigned from her position on Wednesday, stating that Mayor Shah had followed the mob rather than the democratic system.
Aryal, who recently played a part in Kathmandu Metropolitan’s education reform, announced her retirement from the office on social media.
She is said to be unhappy with Mayor Balendra Shah since he chose to cease displaying Hindi movies in Kathmandu due to Adipurush’s contradictory intentions.
Bhaskar Dhungana, her husband, is the director of Team Quest Pvt. Ltd., which owns and manages QFX Cinema Company.
She was appointed as the education consultant of Kathmandu metropolis in August last year.
