KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Member of Parliament Julie Kumari Mahato has requested the government to provide fertilizers to farmers and textbooks to students immediately.

Speaking at zero time of the second meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, she also criticized the government for failing to pay attention to the fact that fertilizer should be provided even when planting begins

MP Mahato also alerted the government to prepare necessary arrangements for the control of various diseases due to the spread of various diseases.

She said, ‘The new academic session has started. Students do not have books. The planting of farmers has started. No manure. Expensiveness has turned the back, citizens have no basis to live. Murder and violence has increased fear. There is no hope of justice. The state does not think that one has to go abroad for employment. Where is the government? Mr Speaker, I request the government to pay attention to this.’
