Bajhang jeep accident: Minister Singh’s wife & sister-in-law dies

KATHMANDU: Prithvi Bahadur Singh, Sudurpaschim State Home Affairs and Law Minister’s wife Amrita Devi and sister-in-law have died in a jeep accident in Bajhang today.

An accident took place on Tuesday when a Jeep (Su Pra 01-001 Jha 480) was on its way to Bajhang from Dhangadhi.

The police acknowledged that the accident killed Minister Singh’s wife and sister-in-law.

Minister Singh, who was injured in the accident, is in critical condition, police said.

Minister Singh, his PSO Deepak Bhandari, and driver Dharmaraj Joshi were flown by helicopter to Nepalgunj for further treatment.

On Tuesday, an accident occurred near Dharchda in Bagthala on the Jai Prithvi route on the way to Dadeldhura from Dadeldhura to Bajhang.
