PM expresses sadness over natural disaster, calls for active involvement in rescue & relief efforts

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed sorrow over the loss of riches caused by floods and landslides in many areas around the country.

The Prime Minister expressed sorrow for the loss of riches in Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, and other eastern districts.

He directed the security forces and national service personnel to actively engage in search, rescue and relief of the missing. I express my deep sorrow for the loss of wealth caused by floods and landslides in various districts of the country. In addition, I earnestly appeal to the general public for their support by directing the security forces and national service personnel to actively search, rescue and relieve the missing,’ said the Prime Minister.
