POKHARA: The Gandaki government has announced a budget of 33.5 billion for the next financial year. A budget of 33,114,000,000 has been announced by the government.

Finance Minister Jit Prakash announced a budget of 12,130 million on the current side and 20,190 million on the capital side.

Out of the entire budget, the Union Government has sent 7.62 billion under the title of financial equalization, 4.94 billion under conditional, 70 billion under special and 84 billion under supplementary.

The province has set a target of raising 5.16 million in internal revenue, while 9.5 billion will be received from revenue sharing.

Similarly, it is estimated that 400 million will be received through royalty and the balance will be 3 billion for the current year.

The target is to raise domestic debt of Rs 1.70 billion. Education, health and agriculture have been emphasized in the next year’s budget along with infrastructure.
