KATHMANDU: The Nepali national volleyball team, which plays in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men’s Volleyball Nations League, has left for Kyrgyzstan.

The Nepalese team left for Kyrgyzstan on Friday morning.

The Nepal Volleyball Association bid the Nepalese squad farewell on Thursday.

The CAVA Nations League will feature seven teams, including Nepal.

The competition also includes Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, and Turkmenistan, in addition to Nepal.

The tournament’s top two teams will compete for the title in a single round-robin format. Similarly, the teams finishing third and fourth will fight for third place.

The competition will take place from June 18 until June 25.
