‘Bullet’ Travel to Promote Tourism (photos)

KATHMANDU: To promote Jiri tourism in Dolakha, regarded as Nepal’s Switzerland, a 3-day Bullet Rally with the main theme of ‘Jiri Ghumna Jau Firiri’ began today with the help of Nepal Bullet House and Tourism Promotion Forum Nepal.

Ramesh Karki, the owner of Nepal Bullet House, announced that Jiri, which is 188 kilometres from Kathmandu, will reach today and will be greeted by Jiri Municipality.

The rally will return only on Sunday after visiting Jiri tomorrow.

According to Leela Khadka, the activist of the ‘Jiri Ghumna Jau Firiri’ campaign and president of the tourism promotion platform, Leela Khadka, this rally will serve to enhance Jiri tourism, and since the term Jiri has not been heard before, the program will also inform everyone.

This morning, 20 Bullet Riders are flying from Kathmandu to Jiri to help make the three-day program a success.
