Pakistan’s anti-terrorism police kill 4 terrorists in Balochistan
The CTD said that a huge cache of explosives, arms and ammunition were seized from the possession of the killed terrorists.

ISLAMABAD: Four terrorists were killed during an operation in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of police said.
The CTD personnel conducted the operation in Balochistan’s Chaman, a district located near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and killed the terrorists belonging to a banned outfit, the CTD officials told media on Wednesday.
During the operation, the terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on the CTD personnel when they were directed to surrender their weapons, prompting police to respond effectively, the officials said, adding that one of the terrorists wearing a suicide jacket also tried to blow himself up before being shot dead by a security officer.
The operation was carried out on the information provided by an arrested terrorist, and the killed terrorists were involved in the attack on the Frontier Corps Headquarters in Balochistan in May, police said.
The CTD said that a huge cache of explosives, arms and ammunition were seized from the possession of the killed terrorists.
Earlier on Saturday, nine terrorists of a banned outfit were arrested in separate intelligence-based operations in the country’s eastern Punjab province.
