KATHMANDU: The hearing of Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki in the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee today has concluded.

Karki has also been summoned for a hearing tomorrow. Karki stated during a hearing before the Parliamentary Hearings Special Committee at Singha Durbar that the round-robin method had facilitated the delivery of justice and reduced criticism of the court.
He states that the irregularity has decreased by 60% when the hearing was assigned through the round-robin procedure in the past.
The administration of justice in the Supreme Court, High Court, and District Court has grown easier since the establishment of the round-robin system. During today’s session, he stated that he was appointed as a Supreme Court justice against his will.
Karki said in the committee meeting that he would identify the intermediary and prevent him from entering the Supreme Court.
He has been the subject of 29 complaints. In the hearing on those complaints tomorrow, questions and replies will be offered.
On Baisakh 25 (May 8), the Constitutional Council proposed that Chief Justice Karki be appointed as Chief Justice.
The creation of the parliamentary hearing committee has caused a delay in Karki’s parliamentary hearing process.
