POKHARA: The plotting that was built along the Phewa Lake wetland area has been demolished by the Pokhara Metropolitan Corporation.

Purushottam Thapa, the city police commander, stated that it was demolished as it was done in the wetland area without the approval of the metropolitan.
Plotting was carried out on the land of Devendra KC and Prakash KC, with authorization to incorporate agricultural land.
The metropolitan has reported that the plottings built on around 80 ropanis have been removed. Mayor Dhanraj Acharya was widely chastised for conspiring without the authorization of the city.
Pame locals demonstrated in the city on Sunday, demanding that they be allowed to plotting their land.
Farmers, on the other hand, had applied pressure to ruin their land by unlawfully charting it, claiming that it was unsuitable for farming.
