SURKHET: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is scheduled to visit Dailekh today.

He is coming to Dailekh to take part in a program arranged by the Kul Shiromani Dashu Memorial and Research Foundation.

Prachanda is traveling to Dailekh for the event, which will take place in Dahal village, Thalo Dullu Municipality-12. This is the role of Dashu descendants Dahal, Lamsal, Rupakheti, Kunwar, and Ranas.

A 66-inch full-height idol (Salik) has been installed at Daha village, Kul Shiromani Dashu’s original house. Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to unveil the statue. This statue was taken from Kathmandu on Jestha 25 (June 8) to ten villages via Devghat, Narayanghat, Gaindakot, Chowmara, Bardghat, Daune, Butwal, Gorusinge, Lamhi, Dang, Kohalpur, Surkhet, Dungeshwar in Dailekh.

Dashu hamlet, where Dashu lived in the beginning, has been created as a Dashu shrine and tourism destination.

Apart from the statue unveiling program, there is a program for the Prime Minister to monitor Sristhan.

He will learn about petroleum exploitation in the Jwala area. Following that, Prachanda is expected to return to Kathmandu today.
