Ecuador forward Valencia joins Brazil’s Internacional

KATHMANDU: Inner Valencia, Ecuador’s captain, has signed a contract with the Brazilian team Sports team Internacional.

Valencia joined the Brazilian club on a free transfer.

After his contract with Turkish club Fenerbahçe expired, he joined Brazilian club Valencia.

The 33-year-old forward was with the Turkish club for three seasons.

“I can promise that I will always give my all for the team, no matter who we are playing against,” Valencia said in a video published on Internacional’s official website.

“The fans have already made me feel welcome and I’m sure I’m going to feel their support even more when I arrive. My thanks go to the fans and all of the people that made this move possible.”

Valencia will wear jersey number 13 for the Brazilian club.

Valencia has 38 goals in 77 appearances for Ecuador.
