KATHMANDU: Since then, there has been a widespread notion that if Indra is delighted, it will rain. He used to gladly worship the god Indra and married frogs.

In the past, a couple of frogs were decorated by making them the groom and bride in a frog wedding. They are married by putting vermilion. It is customary for people to come to a frog’s wedding. Some people also offer dowry. Feast is also available. And after taking it to a nearby water and releasing the frog, the marriage is completed.

The photos of the frog’s wedding are already going viral on social media. Some people may laugh when they see these pictures. However, these images are not a joke; they are the result of the lack of rain and high heat that people are currently enduring.

Due to the severe heat, an outbreak of ‘loo’ has experiencd in the Terai region. In addition to the increased number of patients in the Terai as a result of the hot air, schools are also closing. Furthermore, diarrhea, weakness, increased thirst, headache, leg cramps, disorientation, fainting, muscle soreness, and vomiting have been reported.

Farmers were concerned as their fields’ seeds and crops began to dry up owing to a lack of rain, even during the rainy season. The lives of those who have been tricked by nature are becoming increasingly unstable as a result of drought and high temperatures.

Although the optimal temperature for people varies depending on geography, a temperature of 20-30 degrees Celsius is generally regarded ideal. However, according to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, the temperature in Kathmandu is 32.2 degrees Celsius, while in Dhangadhi it is 40.4 percent. Nepalgunj has the highest temperature as well. The current temperature in Nepalgunj is 41.7 degrees Celsius, while it is 4.4 degrees Celsius in Janakpur.

According to the most recent data, Nepal’s yearly average temperature has risen by 0.056 degrees Celsius. According to the World Meteorological Organization, the following five years are likely to see the highest temperature ever recorded.
