Harka grew emotional when the Kokaha River’s water reached Dharan
Mayor Sampang has called upon the people of Dharan to bathe in the water of Kokaha River.
KATHMANDU: The Kokaha River’s water has reached Dharan. Harka Sampang, mayor of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, succeeded in getting water from the Kokaha River to Dharan as a consequence of his tireless efforts.
Many Dharan residents, including Mayor Sampang, remained up all night to bring water to Dharan.
Mayor Sampang was overcome with emotion after finally managed to bring water to Dharan around midnight on Monday. Now those people are congratulating.
Mayor Sampang has called upon the people of Dharan to bathe in the water of Kokaha River.
He wrote, ‘today from 11 am there is a program of bathing in the water of Kokaha river! To bathe in the holy water of Kokaha, please come to Pakuwa river near the soap factory construction site of Dharan 20! Jai Shramdan!
