Rain starts, such is the weather forecast for three days
Light to moderate rain is falling in parts of Koshi and Bagmati States, as well as one or two parts of Madhesh and Gandaki States.
KATHMANDU: According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the western wind and the low pressure system in Bihar, India are both having an impact on Nepal.
As a result, partial to normal alteration is occurring throughout the country’s hilly parts, including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki states.
Light to moderate rain is falling in parts of Koshi and Bagmati States, as well as one or two parts of Madhesh and Gandaki States.
In the afternoon, there will be light to moderate rain over the country’s mountainous parts, including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki states.
Light to moderate rain with lightning is possible in a few spots in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, as well as in one or two places in the mountainous portions of the remaining states, including Madhesh.
Some locations in the hilly portions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States may experience light to moderate rain at night.
There is also a chance of light rain with lightning in one or two places in Madhesh State and the rest of the country’s hilly terrain.
The country’s Central and Western Terai regions are expected to face high temperatures over the next 24 hours. While little rain is possible in the rest of the country’s mountainous parts, including Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Madhesh states, the heat will remain in the central and western Terai.
The Department of Water and Meteorology has advised that caution is required to avoid the risk and harm caused by the heat.
