Citizens Bank provides Sanitary Pads and Sanitary Vending Machines to Early Childhood
The bank handed over the materials to Pushpa Basnet, the non-profit organization's founder president, with the goal of preserving girls' hygienic needs and lessening the problems they confront.

KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank International has provided the Early Childhood Development Center with two years of sanitary pads as well as three sanitary vending machines.
Citizens Bank International Limited of Airah has been providing continuous responsible banking services for the past 17 years and has provided two years of sanitary pads as well as three sanitary vending machines to address the hygiene needs of girls in the Early Childhood Development Center, Butterfly Home, and Juvenile Correction as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
The bank handed over the materials to Pushpa Basnet, the non-profit organization’s founder chair, with the goal of preserving girls’ hygienic needs and lessening the problems they confront.
In an address to the same program, Chair Basnet stated that the organization believes that every girl should have access to menstrual health management, proper sanitary facilities, and required resources, and thanked Citizens Bank International for their assistance.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has previously supported health camps, community schools, and math temples throughout the country.
